Curing Many Ailments by Using an Ear Chart
Instead of using a regular chart, which can be found for free online, there are also ear charts which show the parts of the body that are affected by different regions of the ear. Those who promote the use of ear charts claim that by using the methods provided by the charts, a person does not need to go to a body acupuncturist since the systems of the body are all contained in the ear chart. In addition, it is not always necessary to use a needle when doing ear since the ear can also be stimulated by using the dull end of the needle at the different pressure points or even a fingernail to stimulate the sore places of the ear, which are the areas where there is something out of balance in the body.
The System
In order to diagnose the problem areas, a toothpick or similar piece of equipment is used to prick the various points on the ear to find the areas that are most tender to the touch. When the areas are found, then the person can start to use the needle for insertion into those points. Even if an needle is not on hand, a fine sewing needle can also be used as long as everything is sterilized well.
According to ear charts, once the needle is inserted about two millimeters into the skin of the ear, then the needle should be gently rolled between the fingers so that is spins in that spot. It should be twirled as fast as the patient is able to endure in that area. The needle should be moved in a circle so that all of the pain that is affecting that area can be gotten out of the system. If there is a lot of tension in a particular area, then the needle might need to be inserted close by the area and twirled again, rotating it in a circle until all of the pain is worked out of the ear in that area.
Ear charts show that the inner part of the ear near the ear hole covers many of the internal systems of the body such as the bladder, large and small intestine, the stomach, diaphragm, heart, gall bladder and uterus, just to name a few. The top of the ear tends to cover the fingers, wrist, knee, toes, ankle and tonsils. Moving to the outer part of the ear, the shoulder, chest, appendix, spine, and elbow are affected. The ear lobe tends to cover the mouth, tonsils, eyes, teeth and blood pressure, while the back of the ear covers headaches, coughs and the lower back.
