Requirements For The Best Needle

Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine treatment. This treatment requires the insertion of fine, thin needles into the person's body to stimulate a positive response.

There are many opinions regarding this form of alternative treatment and so with the needles that are used with it. The best needles are made of stainless steel and very fine and strong. Between the Japanese and the Chinese needles, there are a difference of opinion about which is the best needle.

The Japanese needle is relatively thinner and more fine that those needles used by the Chinese. Other than this difference all the rest of the specifications are the same.

The Difference Between The Two

The debate about which is the best needle between the Japanese and the Chinese may well last a long time.

Other people do not see what the use is in debating which the best needle is and instead place greater stock in the technique that is used in practicing acupuncture.

One difference between the two cultures with regards to practicing is the depth of insertion. The Chinese believe that a deeper insertion will achieve better results while the Japanese do not insert their needles too deep.

Although the practice of originated from China, many people believe that the Japanese perfected the art of acupuncture. This is because the Japanese form of is more delicate and refined compared to the Chinese one.

The Japanese practitioners of also believed in the edict that less is more and prefer not to insert too many needles in to the patient. On the other hand, the Chinese have been at this form of alternative treatment for centuries that they might as well have perfected it. Both cultures have similar notations and meridians in their chart.

The debate over which of the two needles is the best needle is far from over though, because, comparing techniques is highly different from comparing which is the best needle.

It may be safer to say that the best needle will have to depend on who is doing the and who is receiving it.

Some people who practice think that the best needle is the one that they are used to using.

This idea has merit since practice makes perfect and continuously practicing on one definite kind of needle will make one more adept at acupuncture.
